Grandma s advice

• I would like to clean my woodwork window frames and don`t want to damage them. Is there any particular agent for cleanning woodwork? 
• Seals in my woodwork windows are worn out. They ought to be replaced, I suppose- may I do it by myself? 
• I have bought my woodwork 6 years ago and I`ve noticed some vernish demages recently. How shall I mend this? 
• My woodwork windows work: open/ close hurdly- is there anything to do about it?

Of course Yes!- FENOSOL-is an agent that cleans and restores woodwork. This set makes the restoring works easy, You should follow the instruction below:

• clean the woodwork out of the dust,
• restore the cleaned up frame by applying little amount of agent liquid with a spong,
• Slight polishing with soft and wet rag.

Using of FENOSOL balsam improves the external aspect of the vernish cover and protects the vernish from weather condition influence. Once a Year appliance is enought to protect woodwork entirely.

As far as woodwork- Yes. The clumping seals are pushed in elements, they can easily be pulled out and replaced. The inportant thing is to buy suitable seal size for doors or woodwork windows (You can take the old one for matching). Whereus in case of windows made of aluminium or PVC, replacing old seal bands would be a trouble, it is adviced to have it done by professionals either distributor or producer services.  

I have bought my woodwork 6 years ago and I`ve noticed some vernish demages recently. How shall I mend this?

First, the decay spots should be protected from water soak penetration. The surface treatment works before repainting are following:

• degrease the surface,
• polish the demaged surface slightly (glass paper No: 180-200), 
• clean of the dust with wet rag,
• clean to dry.

Next step is: when the demage is profound, the impregnantion paint with impregnant agent should be made first than a ground pointing or both of these actions applied, than the final vernishing in two layers should be done. It should be rememberd that these works should not be executed while the frame`s surface temperature is over 80 Celcius grades ( it might happen when dark surfaces were exposed to direct sunlight),or if the air humidity lavel is over 85%.

Most probably is that the fittins conservation works need to be done, or even adjusting screwing of certain fittings in a casement. It should not be forgotten that the fittings are sliding operating device, thus according to producer`s recomendation they should be oiled once or twice a year al least, the fittings work will be perfect then. If the oiling will not help, a distributor or producer service should be fetched to make the fittings adjustment operation.
